A DITTY A DAY / Song the Eighth

Today is just one of those days.
When you wake up and feel like you need another full night of sleep.
When you look out the window at the cloudy gray sky,
and just want to stay in your pajamas all day,
cuddle with the pups, watch movies & read books,
and nothing else.

Or -
just go back to sleep!

It’s wonderful when one of those days
coincides with a day when you can actually do all of those things!
And now the rain is pouring down,
veiling and cleansing and rhythmic….

So if you need to go back to sleep,
here’s a lullaby for you.
It’ll be here,
any time you need it.
Any time you can’t sleep.
And I can add more later,
and we can start a collection together.
And maybe we can sleep better together.
But not together, that might be weird.
I snore.
